AppaTropas uses a combination of cloud based app locking services to securely lock any app that may contain or allow access to inappropriate or mature content, and local user locking to lock further apps that are not automatically blocked. It blocks all browsers except PurifEYE Filtered Browser (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.purifeye.purifeye_browser).
All control is done remotely from our cloud to block such apps. The user can also block apps that will require a password to unlock them.
AppaTropas has the most advanced uninstall and circumvention protection. Perfect for parents to keep their kids safe.
Why are we different? We have an extensive list of apps that we can block from our server. This list gets updated every time one of our users installs an app that isn't in our database. We server block any app that could help the child get around our lock (in ANY way we can think of) - and even if we haven't blocked it yet - apps by default are locked with the user password. So, even if your child installs something without you knowing, its useless until you change the local setting to allow opening without the password.
Just in case, if our server doesn't receive contact for 72 hours, we will alert you to check that your child hasn't somehow removed it.
